Our Organization

Fayette Society of Fine Art (FSOFA) welcomes visual artists from all disciplines - drawing and illustration, painting, mixed media, sculpting, pottery, photography, architecture, and stained glass. Our membership ranges from beginners and hobbyists to professionals with fine art degrees.

We meet on the second Monday of every month at the Heritage Bank, 440 N. Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville, Georgia 30215. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. with a brief social time and business meeting, followed by an artist demonstration. This is typically a visiting artist who shares their expertise about their medium in an entertaining and educational way.

Join Us

If you are an artist at any level, we invite you to attend one of our meetings as a guest

To join our group, the cost is:

• $25/year for individual membership

• $30/year for a couple/family member

• $5/year for a high school or college student

As a member, you may also choose to participate in our spring and autumn art shows for an additional fee. Likewise, for the occasional workshop and "paint-in."

Student Education

Art education for school-age teens is important to FSOFA members. Every year, our organization gives funds to help the five Fayette high schools and their visual arts teachers purchase supplies. This is funded by donations and fundraising by our membership.

Art Classes

Several FSOFA members offer art classes for adults and/or children. They are:

Kimbo Daniel, Pamela Green, Myra Harden, Helen Hayes, Eunice Nichols, Kimberly Purcell, and Gloria Solly.

Refer to the individual artist's gallery/bio page for more information on the type of lessons offered and contact information; OR email FSOFA through our contact page and we will ask the artist to contact you directly.

Class content, schedules, locations, and fees are offered by member artists and are not part of FSOFA.
